Oh 2020, what a strange year you have been! Following Seattle Public Schools I closed my doors at the end of February 2020 and remain closed.

After 5 wonderful years filled with so many friends, lots of playing, art projects galore I am done teaching pre-k and aim to return to the elementary classroom.

Be well friends and I am sure I will run into many of you around the hill.

Looking forward to welcoming students back to school. Here is a copy of our school calendar for the 2018/2019 school year. QAK 2018:2019 Calendar

The 2018/2019 School year is just around the corner. Here at Queen Anne Kids we will be playing, learning and growing with some new hours.

Classes will be offered Monday-Friday from 9-12:30

It is time to begin planning for next school year. I will continue to teach Monday-Friday 8:30-12 for the 2018/2019 school year. I will once again follow the SPS calendar. While the school district has not yet published their schedule for the following year they typically begin Wednesday after Labor Day. I start my school year the following Monday and end the third week in June.

Current families and siblings will have priority registration for the 2018/2019 school year through February 18th, 2018. I will begin registering new families Starting February 19th, 2018. If you are a new family and interested in joining us for play school one or more mornings a week, please feel free to contact me with any questions and we ALWAYS welcome visitors. Bring your little one and come play to see if we would be a good fit for you!

To register for next year you need to do TWO things.

1. Please let me know what schedule you would like for the following year- number of days and day preference and if you would like to be on a music day with Katy Webber- If I ask early enough I can usually get any day I would like.

2. Pay a non-refundable deposit of $200(per student) to hold your place, which will be applied to your September tuition.

1 day a week $215 per month

2 days a week $420 per month

3 days a week $625 per month

Your monthly tuition will continue to cover your child’s art supplies, snacks, lunches, and other various consumable learning materials. The only outside fee is if your student attends on music day with teacher Katy Webber($9). She has not set her schedule for next year but I will let families know as soon as I can which day she will be with us.

I look forward to spending another school year with your child filled with lots of playing, singing and art (aren’t you glad they paint and glitter at my house and not yours!)
